Introduction to Bridal Make-up Artistry including Brow Definition - Part-time

Course outline

If you want to delve into the creative world of bridal make up artistry and brow definition then this course is for you.

Working on real clients, you will start by creating the perfect base then move onto creating classic and glamorous looks to really hone your skill. We will cover bridal looks from around the world as well as brow mapping, brow tinting, waxing and threading of the brows.

You will learn the theory and application of brow lamination to create that full textured brow look that is seen up and down high the street.

You will create a customised treatment plan for each of your clients to give them the bridal make-up and brow shape they want and that suits them perfectly.

You will learn:

  • Client care and communication
  • Health and safety
  • Contraindications
  • Consultation
  • Bridal trials and aftercare
  • Skin types and skincare
  • Base make up
  • Eye and lip make up including eyeliner, smokey eyes and the perfect red lips
  • Brow mapping
  • How to tint the brows
  • How to wax and thread the brow area
  • How to apply suitable make up to achieve the desired look
  • Brow lamination
  • Marketing your business and pricing

You can expect to work on real clients.
