Course outline

This course is perfect if you would like to develop your understanding about the process taking place in the UK to support our health and wellbeing.

The course will help you to understand the impact of some factors on health, such as diet and exercise and how policy and legislation can be used effectively to support the populations health and wellbeing.

You will learn:

  • The bodies and processes involved in the public health sectors
  • Factors which can impact health (communicable and non-communicable)
  • Prevention methods which are used to protect individuals and populations
