This introductory course provides an overview of the hospitality industry, its growth and development, industry segments and their distinguishing characteristics, trends and current concerns.
You will be introduced to career diverse opportunities and employability skills needed to succeed in specific hospitality fields.
On this course, you will learn:
- How to identify departments and duties of various positions within the hospitality industry.
- The policies, regulations and public agencies pertaining to the hospitality Industry.
- Enhancing effective communication skills needed in the hospitality industry.
- How to find jobs in the hospitality industry.
- Employability skills needed in the hospitality industry.
