Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (EMTEC Academy) (Level 2) — Full-time

Course outline

This course has been specially designed to combine all the elements of a motor vehicle maintenance and repair level 2, one year course, with a work experience module, building your technical skills as well as the skills that will ensure you are ready for work on completion of the course.

The course is backed by a number of employer sponsors and all students on the programme will be matched with an employer mentor who will help build confidence, industry awareness, knowledge of the future automotive technology and will offer a work experience placement too.

You’ll study at the EMTEC site in our dedicated EMTEC Academy classrooms and workshop space.

You’ll learn how to service and repair cars and vans and how to diagnose and solve faults on vehicles.

This is a fast-paced course and demands a high level of commitment to see you through both the classroom-based theoretical learning, the workshop hands-on learning and your work experience placement.

You’ll be supported by a team of experienced technicians and an employer mentor from one of our Academy sponsors including Sandicliffe, Sytner, KIA, Lindley’s and more.
