This course is perfect if you’re bike-mad and want to get a real qualification with real career prospects. You’ll get the technical knowledge needed in today’s motorcycle repair industry.

You will learn the technical requirements for today’s motorcycle repair industry. The course provides essential knowledge for service technicians working on motorcycles in all types of garages and workshops.

You can expect lots of hands-on experience and practice in our purpose built workshops at London Road.

Entry requirements

You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grade 3–1 (D–G), including English Language and Maths at grade 3–1 (D–G), or relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification and you will also be asked to sit an initial assessment. The initial assessment must show that you are ready to study English and Maths at Level 1.

Teaching & assessment

The course assessment is made up of three elements:

  • Portfolio of Evidence in Skills
  • Knowledge of Practical Tasks
  • Online Testing
