Music Performance (Level 3) - Full-time

Music Performance06

Course outline

If you love popular music, are interested in a music career and want to further develop your skills in music performance, this is the course for you.

Throughout your course you’ll learn and rehearse in state-of-the-art studios and practice rooms at our Clarendon centre, and play at various commercial venues in and around the city.

You will develop your songwriting skills and have many opportunities to play your original material to audiences across the city. You will also study the music business and music theory, as well as learning other skills designed to maximise your employability within the world of music.

This two-year programme will prepare you well for a career as a music performer or composer/songwriter. Our Music Academy is sponsored by Roland, giving students access to £40,000 worth of the music industry's leading products.

You’ll learn about the music industry, music theory and composition alongside advancing your skills as a performer.

You can expect lots of gigging opportunities in the UK and abroad, plus practical and theory based projects.
