This course is perfect if you want to develop your existing music tech knowledge to create, record and engineer music in professional studio environments.
You’ll learn cutting-edge music production techniques using Logic Pro, performing live with Ableton, band recording and live sound engineering. You’ll be training on industry-standard software and equipment. You can expect studio and live experience, practical projects and opportunities to work with touring musicians, plus access to Roland and Boss equipment.

You’ll need 5 GCSEs at grade 9–4 (A*–C), including English Language and maths – both of these must be grade 9–4 (A*–C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths, or a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification with English and maths GCSE grades 9–4 (A*–C)

You will be assessed on practical tasks, projects and productions, supported by a record of written evidence.
Choose to follow with further study at degree-level in music, music technology or sonic arts, such as Music HND at Nottingham College, or pursue a career in music.
