Networking Infrastructure (Level 5) - Part time

Course outline

The purpose of this unit is to provide you with an understanding of the directory-based infrastructure of large scale complex networked systems, their design, implementation and testing.

You will explore concepts of addressing, resource management, privileges, security policies and naming of devices and develop your skills to design complex network infrastructure systems.

No formal qualifications but a good standard of English, computer systems and networking is required .

Assessment

Assessment of your work could be carried out both internally and externally in the form of written projects and practical observations.

Progression

You could progress to the City & Guilds Level 4 Professional Diploma ICT Systems and Principles for IT Professionals (Part-time or Full-time).
