Hobbies Landscape Painting

Course outline

This 10 week course will offer an introduction to working with mixed media techniques and materials.

We will explore painting, drawing, printmaking, such as collagraph and mono-printing. The focus and emphasis will be on practical experimentation through a series of delivered workshops. There will be the opportunity to produce a sustained piece of work in the last weeks of the course.

This course is suitable for both beginners and to those who wish to improve on skills and learn new techniques.

Denise Weston is currently an Art and Design tutor at Nottingham College and practising Fine Artist. She worked in Adult Education for 7 years prior to this at The University of Nottingham. She holds both a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art (First Class) and an MA in Fine Art - Painting.
