Printmaking and Collage Art - Part-time

Course outline

This course is perfect if you are looking to learn or improve skills in printing, collage and mixed media artwork.

You will develop or improve a number of collage, printing and mixed media techniques and skills.

We will use a variety of materials and look at a range of subjects, taking inspiration from different artists and styles.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Assessment

The course does not have a formal assessment or qualification, however individual verbal and written feedback is given each week. Feedback focusses on students' successes, as well as suggestions for improvement, and are discussed during each session.

Progression

Students are encouraged to access further community based art and craft courses, other courses in various subjects, or could move to a qualification based course in arts or craft based subjects.

Additional information

Course materials are provided during the sessions, however you may be asked to bring in collage resources for some sessions.

As some materials may mark or stain clothing, you should also bring an apron to all sessions.
