Summer Ceramics — Improving Throwing — Part-time

Course outline

This course is perfect for students who want to develop and improve their throwing technique.

It focuses on improving the consistency and quality of your throwing. It is aimed at those who already have experience on the potter’s wheel and want to improve their basic technique.

We will be looking at various shapes and sizes of vessel and the challenges involved in each piece. Students will be encouraged to look at each process critically and collaboratively as a class.

The course is limited to 10 spaces – due to resources.

You will receive an induction to the ceramic studio, excellent tutor guidance, access to clay and resources and lots of enthusiasm and support.

You can view the fantastic creative works of our students on our Creative Showcase website below.
