Course outline

This course is perfect if you want to enter the specific sector of beauty therapy as a beauty (Swedish massage) therapist. All the units in this qualification relate directly to the specific job role of a beauty (Swedish massage) therapist.

It covers the skills involved in providing body massage treatments.

You will learn about the classical Swedish massage movements and adapt massage techniques to suit individual client needs. You will also learn about health, safety, hygiene and client care and receive input on anatomy and physiology relevant to body massage.
