T Level in Business (Level 3) (16 – 18) — Full-time

Course outline

A T Level is a nationally-recognised qualification that is worth the same number of UCAS points as 3 A levels and is accepted by universities and includes a minimum of 351 hours working with an employer on an industry placement.

During the 2-year programme, you will learn the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of business occupations. This course is suitable for anyone wanting a career in business management or business support.

Modules include:

  • The different types of organisations (e.g. private, public and not-for-profit)
  • The impact of organisations on society and the environment
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
  • Business models and structures
  • Operations and functions (e.g. finance, Human Resources)

In addition to the core content, you will study the following specialism:

  • Business Improvement
  • Team Leadership/Management
  • Business Support
  • Information Management

This course will be taught at our City Hub Campus where you will have access to fantastic facilities and state-of-the-art virtual learning technologies and equipment.

Qualification

T Level Technical Qualification in Business

Duration

2 years

Level Level 3
Entry requirements

You need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including English and Maths at grade 5.

This course is for students aged 16-18 only.

Teaching & assessment

You will complete a range of externally-assessed projects including role plays, written exams and employer-set projects alongside completing 315 hours of relevant industry experience.

Progression

You can progress into employment, an apprenticeship or higher education.
