This course is perfect if you’re wanting to further advance your knowledge and skills in the hair and beauty sector and to specialise in the theatrical and media make up areas. This course is ideal for experienced and qualified make-up artists who work unsupervised, possibly in a supervisory or managerial role and have a high level of relevant knowledge and skills.
You’ll learn subject areas including:
- Creating and presenting a design plan in the fashion
- Theatrical special effects
- Media make up industry
- Research in the fashion
- Theatrical, special effects and media make up industry
- Applying prosthetic pieces and bald caps
- Creating and casting small prosthetic pieces and bald caps
You can expect to cover a wide range of advanced skills and knowledge required for advance techniques used within the theatrical and media make up industry. This course is practical based and assessment is in a realistic working environment.
