Programme Content

The programme is designed around the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3). Training will be delivered by dedicated Aston Martin Instructors using Aston Martin equipment and cars.

To enhance this qualification you will undertake modules of training specifically built around our product to include:

  • Mechanical electrical trim — removal and replacement
  • Body panel replacement and alignment
  • Vehicle parts identification
  • Diagnostics
  • Customer service

Additionally, the programme will include Aston Martin Technical Training courses to support you in developing all the skills needed to become a valuable member of the dealership.

  • Aston Martin Technical Induction

Year 3

  • Aston Martin Advanced AMDS
  • Short Engine Rebuild
  • Engine Management
  • Vehicle Electrical Systems
  • Sport shift Transmission

The programme also includes additional training to assist your development with teamwork and other life skills.

Programme Induction

The programme will commence with an Induction Day at Aston Martin, Gaydon. This will be an opportunity for you, the dealers and your parents and guardians to understand what the coming three years will include and the opportunities that exist for you on the programme in the future.

Programme Commencement

The first week of training will commence shortly after the Induction Day. You will be accommodated at The Walton Hall Hotel, Wellesbourne in Warwickshire. Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel to the Aston Martin Training Facility each day.
