Training is delivered via a block release programme, at the state of the art Kia Training Academy in Nottingham. Testimonials
"Here at TMS Hinkley, we have used the Kia apprenticeship scheme for several years. Our first apprentice has almost completed his programme with great results and he has become a very important asset to our team. In today's environment, it is difficult to find good technicians, so it is important to us as a business to 'grow our own'. We now have a our second apprentice on the programme who is also progressing well. We believe the reason for our two apprentices' success is due to the very high standards of training and discipline installed into them at the Kia Academy. The support from the academy for us as a dealer is very important enabling us to support the apprentices in achieving their goal of becoming a qualified Kia Technician. I would like to thank Mark Daley and the other trainers at the academy for all their help and support over the years and look forward to our future relationship."

"The Kia Apprenticeship programme provides a great opportunity for new recruits to maximise their skill set for their new career ahead. From a dealer perspective, having an organisation with staff benefiting from bespoke manufacturer training is a huge advantage. Having used the Apprenticeship programme for over five years, I have enrolled five new staff members into the programme. Each one has successfully completed, or is very much on track to complete the programme. It provides training in great detail and easily enhances apprentices' knowledge of the Kia product and their skill set of the job role. The programme also comes with the benefits of various extra qualifications issued throughout the apprenticeship, such as air conditioning and the handling of hybrid vehicles. Having experienced the benefits of both Technician Apprentices and Service/Parts Advisor Apprentices, I can confidently recommend the apprenticeship programme to help build the best teams in your dealerships."
