Event: What Next

Join us on July 5^th at the City Hub for our "What Next?" careers event.

We are inviting all students in Years 7-9 to come experience life at Nottingham College.

Pupils will have the chance to participate in fun interactive activities and create unforgettable memories. They will be able to:

• Unleash their inner actors in our state-of-the-art media studio, where they can step into the shoes of fantasy characters and create magical effects using our green screen.
• Nurture and care for lifelike interactive baby simulators, a perfect opportunity to try out childcares course in a hands-on way.
• Take over podcasting studio and production control room to create a fun and snappy podcast on a current hot topic.
• Express their unique style and bring a burst of colour to their fingertips by learning stunning nail art techniques.
• Channel their inner designers and create their own printed designs on fabric with paint, stamps and stencils.
• Dive into the world of cars and engines with our motor vehicle taster sessions.
• Become the mastermind behind their very own confectionery empire and create their own sweet brand from scratch.
• Set their inner stylist free and learn the art of hair plaiting and twisting.
• Embark in an action-packed session covering dance, acting and musical theatre and immerse themselves in the world of performing arts.
• Try their hand at cupcake icing and explore their artistic side as they experiment with different techniques, from gentle swirls to intricate patterns with our catering and hospitality team.
• Step into the shoes of a cabin crew member and experience the behind the scenes of the glamorous world of aviation in our realistic airplane cabin simulator.
• Boost their skills, build camaraderie, and unleash their competitive spirit with our exhilarating team-building outdoor sports activity.

The adventure continues with exciting tours around our industry-standard facilities, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at everything our college has to offer. But wait, there's more! We’ll have engaging presentations about college life and pupils will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with tutors.
