What time is the Open Evening?

All our Open Evenings are between 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. When booking you will have the option to select a date and timeslot. These timeslots are 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm which is for the welcome presentation start times which are running every 30 minutes. You are not limited to 30 minutes

Can I look at multiple subjects at an Open Evening?

Yes! For our Adams Building, Basford, City Hub and Highfields campuses multiple course areas are based there, so you are welcome to look around more than one curriculum area if you’d like. Make sure to arrive in enough time to see all the areas you want.

Can I attend multiple Open Evenings?

Yes! We will be running Open Evenings across six of our locations in October/November 2023 and January 2024, each one is run on a different date that doesn’t overlap with another event. If you would like to attend multiple locations, make sure to book onto each one, this is help for managing numbers

Who should I book on when registering for an Open Evening?

The booking form accommodates students/learners (those interested in studying at college). Parents/Guardians (those who could be accompanying a student/learner at the event) and other visitors/guests. We do not collect any personal information of other visitors/guests.

What should I do if I can’t attend after registering?

You should be able to cancel your own booking through the Eventbrite website or through the mobile app. Alternatively if you contact events@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk with the event name, full name and email address the booking was made under we can cancel it on your behalf.

What car parking is available at college sites?

Car parking will be free on a first come, first served based for our campuses with car parking facilities, which are Basford, Highfields and London Road. For other locations, there will be public car parks available nearby in the surrounding area.

Event: City Hub Open Evening

You're invited to our City Hub Open Evening! We are running Open Evening events in October/November 2023 and January 2024 across six of our locations.

Students, parents, and visitors will be able to:

Attend a welcome presentation.
See/tour our facilities.
Meet our tutors.
Find out about our courses and information related to college.
There will be a market place area featuring student finance, careers, student enrichment, curriculum areas

Welcome presentation

All Open Evening events are between 5:00 – 7:00 pm and include a welcome presentation which is running every 30 minutes from 5:00 pm, with the last presentation at 6:30 pm. When booking you will be able to choose from 4 timeslots between 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Make sure to arrive in advance of the timeslot to make sure you don’t miss out!
