Event description

'CAN'T PAY, WON'T PAY' - Performed by FdA Acting

Written by Dario Fo

This fast-paced play employs traditional elements of farce to address political issues: the financial pressures of working-class life, unreasonable prices, the threat of unemployment, and unreformed and ignorant male views of women.

This hilarious and critically acclaimed political farce centres on direct action by housewives against inflationary supermarket prices and struggles with their Communist trade unionist husbands who face unemployment and political crisis.

Please note there may be smoke, haze and flashing lights in this performance.
