Join us in September 2022
Haven’t made up your mind yet? Don’t worry – applications are still open for September 2022, and we have lots of courses and study options for you to choose from.
If you’re unsure what you’d like to study, why not try our brand-new course navigator? It’s interactive and designed for mobile devices – the choice is in your hands!
Before I came to college, I wasn’t aware of just how many options there are for school leavers. I assumed 6th form was the only option after GCSEs until I started researching my options and realised that wasn’t the case and I can study something I am interested in.
— Tijan Mbowe, Level 3 Sports Coaching student.
What can I study?
We offer the widest range of courses for school leavers in the region. Whether you want to study A Levels at High Pavement, our dedicated Sixth Form Centre in the heart of the City Centre or want to study something more hands-on at one of our state-of-the-art campuses, you have plenty of choice!
You can browse the range of courses we offer here. You’ll find information about where your course will be based and entry requirements on each course page.
How do I apply?
Applying is simple, head over to our apply page and fill in your application online. Once we receive your application, we’ll be in touch to sort the rest.
Can I apply for more than one course? Yes! You can apply for more than one course if you haven’t decided yet (if you choose to study A Levels you will need to choose a minimum of three subjects). There is no obligation to accept a place at this stage, you can decide once you receive your GCSE results.
I’ve already applied to another college or sixth form, can I still apply here?
Yes! You can still apply to us even if you’ve applied for a college or sixth form place elsewhere. You don’t need to confirm your place until you get your GCSE results in the summer.
Is there a deadline to apply? We keep applications open throughout the summer however our courses do fill up fast so we recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The sooner you apply, the sooner you can secure your place for September 2022.
Will I need to have an interview?
This will depend on the course/s you have applied for, but the majority of our courses will invite you to a ‘meet the tutor’ session. This is your chance to meet your course team, have a look around the college and ask questions. Once you apply you’ll be sent further information via email so keep an eye on your inbox.
I have more questions… If you need more information and can’t find the answers you’re looking for, then please get in touch. You can give us a call on 0115 9100100, use the live-chat option on our website or send an email to enquiries@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.
