Nottinghamshire Cricket Board Academy

Cricket

If you are a cricket player and are committed to a career in the cricket and sport industry or would like to join our cricket programme, this course could be perfect for you!

The Cricket Development Programme (CDP) is a partnership between Nottingham College, The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. The partnership allows students that are interested in cricket to attend the College, study a full-time sport qualification and also improve their own skills with the guidance of professional coaches at the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

Students also have the opportunity to qualify as cricket coaches and contribute to the local cricketing landscape by volunteering with the NCB to deliver schools festivals, coach at clubs and also gain valuable industry experience by volunteering at major match cricket at Trent Bridge. The CDP combines sporting qualifications with a comprehensive practical experience which will allow 16-18 year olds to understand the cricketing and wider sports industry.
