Are you wanting to study engineering and technology at a state of the art campus with amazing facilities? Join us at Highfields for our Open Evening where you can meet our staff and students, and tour our facilities, including our robotics, Virtual Reality Zone, 3D printers and industrial machinery.

Our engineering and technology courses are the perfect choice if you enjoy figuring out how things work and have a curious mind. You will develop new skills and unbeatable commercial experience, as well as high levels of technical knowledge, which can open up a wide variety of job opportunities.

If you would like to find out more about Highfields by attending our Open Evening it is important that you book your space in advance. You can do this by clicking the ‘register now’ button on the side of this page.

We offer a clear progression route on your journey to becoming a qualified engineer in one of 18 sector areas, with support from staff who have specialist industry experience.

At the Open Evening you will be able to discover all the courses we offer at Highfields and chat to tutors and current students.

What facilities are available at Highfields?

We have large high quality workshops with industry standard equipment at our Centre of Excellence at Highfields Science Park, which will equip you with the skills you need for a successful career in engineering or technology.

At the centre of the site, you will find the Hub. This is home to the reception, library and canteen. Leading off from this are a variety of impressive workshops including fabrication, welding, robotics, electrical, programmable logic as well as lathe and milling workshops.
