In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Nottingham College is launching an exciting new suite of university-level courses.
The new start university-level programmes are designed to help people looking to enhance their learning and qualifications, to support them in progressing in their current roles, or to help them find new employment opportunities.
About the HNC
The full-time Higher National Certificate (HNC) programmes can be completed in just one academic year, typically through studying two days per week. Alternatively, they can be spread over two years if done on a part-time basis (one day per week) for our Construction, Engineering and Teaching programmes.
The HNC programmes are a level 4 qualification, broadly equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate university degree course, and are awarded by the UK’s largest awarding body (Pearson).
Eligible students can apply for a student loan to cover their tuition fees and a maintenance loan to help with day-to-day living costs from Student Finance England.
Not only that, the College is also offering a Special Support Bursary (Head Start Scheme) worth £1000 to those who study full-time on one of these courses, to support them to do so (terms & conditions apply).
