Degree-level courses with flexible starts

Apply now: HE.Team@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk

You don’t have to wait until September to get started, we have a range of university-level courses starting in early 2023!

If you’re looking to enhance your learning and qualifications, wanting to progress in your current role or hoping to explore new employment opportunities, then a university-level course could be a great option for you.

A three-year degree isn’t the only option when considering university level study, there are lots of other alternatives available which are both flexible and affordable.

A HNC programme is a level 4 qualification that is roughly equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree course. A full-time HNC programme can be completed in just one academic year, typically through studying two days per week. Alternatively, our Construction, Engineering and Teaching programmes can be spread over two years if studied part time (one day a week).

We also offer a range of flexible university level courses at level 5 and above. Depending on your previous qualifications and goals, these could be a great option for you.

The advantages of College vs. University

Many students are now opting to reap the benefits of staying local and studying for a university-level course in a college environment. Here are some of the benefits to consider.

Financial support

Eligible students can apply for a student loan to cover their tuition fees and a maintenance loan to help with day-to-day living costs from Student Finance England.

Not only that, the College is also offering a Special Support Bursary (Head Start Scheme) worth £1000 to those who study full-time on one of these courses, to support them to do so (terms & conditions apply).
