Access to Nursing - Open Event

Become a Nurse - No A Levels? No problem. 

Nursing is more than just a job, it's a career that makes a difference.

Our Access to Nursing and Midwifery programme is a fast-track route into degree-level study for people aged 19+.  It is a varied course which will enhance your knowledge of the human body as well as covering the issues surrounding healthcare such as the NHS and Government policies.

On 5th June 2018, Nottingham College experts in nursing and education will be on hand to tell you everything you need to know about starting an Access to Nursing course in 2018. 

You'll be able to chat to Nottingham College staff and students about:

- Fees and finance options - including how to apply for Adult Learning Loans and how the changes in government funding will affect you

- Additional support - find out if you're eligible for a daily lunch allowance, full childcare costs covered and free laptop loan

- Fee remission advice - are you receiving a benefit or currently unemployed? We'll advise you about whether you are eligible for fee remission

- Enrolment - how to enrol and the personal information required

- Interviews - if you're keen to launch your career in nursing as soon as possible, you'll be able to interview with course leaders on the day.
