Media, Film and Digital Technologies

We’re at the heart of Nottingham’s creative community, right on the doorstep of many new and emerging creative companies working at the cutting edge of the creative sector, so you’ll be the first to know about new jobs in the creative industry.

You’ll study at our City campus, in the heart of the historic Lace Market, right in the middle of the city’s Creative Quarter. It’s a blend of old and new with plenty to inspire you.

You’ll enjoy Mac and PC suites, industry-related 3D software, CS6 Master Suite software, high-definition cameras, industry-standard video editing and sound recording equipment, impressive exhibition space and an innovative, energetic, collaborative bunch of students.

You’ll be rubbing shoulders with students on a whole range of different courses learning about cameras and lighting, sound for film and television, post-production and visual effects, music video production, advanced digital photography, online journalism, current affairs documentary, graphic design, web design and a whole lot more. It’s a brilliant opportunity to broaden your knowledge and make contacts.

You’ll get the opportunity to showcase your work to some of the major players and talent scouts of the industry. You could get the chance to attend the New Designers exhibition in London and exhibit at our celebrated annual end of year show. By studying with us you'll get well connected and be ready to step up to the fast-paced world of employment. Our annual Creative Careers Conference will connect you with industry movers and shakers - in the past we've been joined by people like Tom Muller, Ian Tatham and key players from Sky, Instagram, the BBC and more.

Our graduates go on to achieve great careers within leading companies, including Channel 5, Web Design Group Limited, Gems TV and Peppermint Technology Ltd.
