Why choose Nottingham College?

Located in the vibrant city of Nottingham, with its thriving arts and cultural scene, student-orientated nightlife and multicultural atmosphere - we have a diverse mix of students and a growing portfolio of higher education and professional courses.

Excellent courses and flexible study options

The calibre of our higher education (HE) provision has been recognised by Nottingham Trent University and the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). Nottingham College offers flexible ways of learning on a full or part-time basis with a vocational focus.

Employability

93% of graduates were in employment or further study six months after completing their course (Destination of Leavers from ncn Higher Education Survey 2014/15). We place a heavy emphasis on the vocational relevance of our courses and in preparing students for the workplace.

Affordability and value for money

We offer a cost-effective solution to studying higher education.

Close-knit learning community

Our HE students particularly appreciate our smaller lecture groups and the regular one-to-one contact they have with tutors. We have dedicated and supportive teaching staff, with good industry contacts and support networks.

Location

Nottingham is a fantastic city in which to study, with excellent transport links and a student-friendly environment. Its locality offers easy access using good rail and road links.

Diverse student body

We welcome applications from people of all ages, including mature learners who have no formal qualifications but with relevant industry experience. If you’re unsure about your existing qualifications, please contact our HE team.
