For some students and college applications, we will request proof of VISA/immigration status. This evidence is requested by the college when additional proof of residency in the United Kingdom is required. This is based on the information provided about your Nationality and how long you have been living in the United Kingdom when the college application was made.

If this applies to you, you will receive an email from the college requesting additional residency information. 

If you have been contacted to provide this information, you will need to provide additional evidence to progress your application and upload this to your Learner Hub account.

Proof of VISA and immigration status

There are several forms of validation evidence for VISA/immigration requirements.
 

• GOV.UK Visas and Immigration share code

• Letter from the Home Office confirming residency status

• Application Registration Card (ARC) and Aspen Card

• Biometric Residence Permit Card (BRP)

• Other documents

  • Section 4 document

  • Refugee travel documents

  • Bail 201 letter

  • Section 98, 95 or 4 NASS support letter
