Applying for an apprenticeship vacancy
Live apprenticeship vacancies are listed on the college's apprenticeship vacancies page, spanning intermediate, advanced, and higher-level standards — and if nothing currently listed matches what you're looking for, you can register your interest and be notified when a suitable role comes up.
New vacancies are added throughout the year rather than at fixed points, since they depend on local employers' recruitment needs, so it's worth checking back regularly if you don't see the right opportunity straight away. Applications for advertised vacancies are typically made through the National Apprenticeship Service via GOV.UK, which requires setting up a GOV.UK One Login account, after which you can apply for one or more roles and track your application progress in one place.
The register-your-interest form lets you specify the job areas you're interested in, so the apprenticeship team can proactively contact you when something relevant becomes available, rather than you needing to keep checking manually. You can also reach the apprenticeship team directly by emailing business@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk or calling 0115 945 7260 if you'd prefer to discuss your options with someone directly.
