What salary can I expect whilst I am an Apprentice?
Your salary will be set by the dealership, however the national minimum hourly rates, effective from 1 April 2022, are:
FIRST YEAR (This rate is for apprentices aged 16 – 18 and those aged 19 or over in their first year)
Minimum hourly rate = £4.81
SECOND AND THIRD YEAR
- Under 18 — Minimum hourly rate = £4.81
- Aged 18 – 20 — Minimum hourly rate = £6.83
- Aged 21 – 22 — Minimum hourly rate = £9.18
- Aged 23 and over — Minimum hourly rate = £9.50
