Duncan — Supported Learning

Duncan loves College and he’s come on in leaps and bounds this year. I can’t praise Dee Edwards at Nottingham College enough for all she’s done for Duncan, and the support and communication which I need and appreciate.

Duncan’s mum — Linda

Duncan has autism and he’s on a Supported Learning course at Nottingham College. The College’s Supported Learning team have worked with him to help him communicate with others and to come out of his shell.

Dee Edwards, Lecturer at Nottingham College said: Duncan has really progressed over the past year with us, and has started to show his cheeky side, which is wonderful to see.

We’re so pleased with the steps we have made together. We’ve been able to help him explore new foods and he’s shown a creative side both in craft and IT sessions.”
