The Open Evenings are a chance for you to see our facilities and meet our expert tutors who will provide you with much more information about the course/courses you are interested in – It is your chance to ask questions and get a feel of what College is like. Our student support areas will be available during the evening if you would like information on student finance, careers, student enrichment and additional learning support. If you’d like some advice on how to apply, advisers will be on hand in our Application Zones to answer your questions and talk you through the process.
Booking is essential as we need to know how many people will be there on the evening so that we can plan and manage numbers accordingly.
We have redesigned our booking process for 2023/24, when booking there are three ticket types:
- Student/Learner - The person(s) interested in college.
- Parent/Guardian - Those attending with the person(s) interested in college.
- Other visitor/guest - Anyone else accompanying but not a student/parent or guardian.
No personal information is collected for other visitor/guests tickets, only a booking reference for capacity purposes.
Yes! You are welcome to attend multiple events to see multiple different course areas, but you will need to book these individually so we have accurate visitor numbers for each subject areas/locations.
Each of our locations have different courses areas at each event, this is visible under "Subjects at this event", if you do not see the course area you are interested in then please contact us directly and we will advise which event will be best for you to attend – events@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.
Travel information can be found for each campus on our locations page. Each event will link to the location page it is being hosted at.
Car parking will be free on a first come, first served based for our campuses with car parking facilities, which are:
For other locations, there will be public car parks available nearby in the surrounding area.
We are running quieter slots at Open Evenings from 4:15pm - 5pm for prospective learners who have additional support needs which mean they find a busy environment difficult. These slots are limited and are an opportunity for parents, carers and prospective learners to meet our support team, discuss the support we can offer and how we work with young people to develop independence for adulthood. If this is something you might be interested in then please make contact with our additional learning support who will be able to provide more information: als@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.
You can cancel your own booking either through eventbrite.co.uk or the mobile app. Alternatively you can contact events@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk who can cancel any bookings on your behalf. Make sure to provide the full name and email information of the original booking.
