Community venues

We offer part-time courses for adults in community venues across Nottingham. Examples include community centres and dedicated training venues.

Each community venue is different, but they all have

  • a choice of courses
  • a convenient location for their local area
  • good public transport links
  • friendly, skilled teaching staff

Asian Women's Project

AWP is a non-profit charity that aims at empowering Asian women in Nottingham.

Bakersfield Community Centre

Located on the Sneinton Dale, Bakersfield Community Centre is only five minutes drive from the city centre, offering excellent access by both bus and car.

Beechdale Community Centre

This venue is on Ambergate Road in Beechdale and is easily accessible by road and public transport.

Bestwood Estate Community Centre

Bestwood community centre offers a wide variety of regular activities, clubs, and social groups - covering many different interests, ranging from health and fitness, to arts and crafts, to dance and drama, and much more.

Evolve

Evolve aims to provide a Community Hub to provide activities and support for the community to help improve life-opportunities and to create the tools and pathways for all to reach their potential.

Foxhall Business Centre

Conveniently located a mile northwest of the City Centre, Foxhall Business Centre is set back from a tree lined boulevard with secure on-site car parking.

Haydn Road

Based in the Sherwood area, Haydn Road features classroom space for our ESOL learning provision.

Middle Street Resource Centre

A community centre located on Middle Street in Beeston. Conveniently located near Middle Street tram stop.

Nottingham Ceramics School

The Nottingham Ceramic School is a light-filled and spacious pottery studio for all who are keen to work with clay.

Nottingham Trent University

Our Higher Education Sport Coaching courses validated by NTU are based at the Nottingham Trent University Clifton Campus.

Queens Walk Community Centre

The Queens Walk Community Centre is situated in a large two-storey building in the Meadows area of the city, opposite the Queens Walk tram stop, and less than 10 minutes from the train station.

Snape Wood Community Centre

A centre in the Bulwell area open to all members of the community.

Southglade Access Centre

Located in the Bestwood area, Southglade Access Centre runs entry and level 1 courses for beginners and improvers in areas such as IT.

St George's Centre

St George's runs many courses including Counselling and beauty therapy.

St Mary's Church

Based in Eastwood, this venue runs entry level courses in areas like Arts, Crafts and Stained Glass.

The Textile Workshop

The Textile Workshop offers a variety of Arts, Crafts and Textiles courses. Classes are held at dedicated premises in Sherwood, on Mansfield road.

The Training Centre

A modern, well-equipped training centre based in Bulwell. Providing an opportunity for people to undertake training courses and learning opportunities.
