Job description

Plumtree Fish & Chips has been established since December 1996 - family run award winning fish & chips by Peter, Anna, their girls, and their team - Team Plumtree! This position has great opportunities for possible progression into management roles and allowing you to bring creativity in the kitchen to the table including input on menu design.

Plumtree Fish & Chips are currently looking for a passionate and committed Production Chef apprentice to join their team. You will need to be a great team player but also have the initiative to work on your own with the ability to work during busy periods but still maintaining the highest of customer service.

This position has great opportunities for progression into management roles and allowing you to bring your creativity in the kitchen to the table including having input on menu design.

Job responsibilities/duties will include:

  • Making batter
  • Preparation of potatoes, chips, sauces, salads etc.
  • Cutting fish
  • Frying fish
  • Serving customers
  • Following all Health and Safety procedures at all times
