This apprenticeship develops the knowledge and skills relating to the Early Years Educator within a care and education setting.
You will study a range of knowledge topics including:
You will develop skills to support the delivery of the EYFS, planning and delivering activities, implementing inclusive practice, supporting the children's welfare, personal development and reflecting on practice.
Duration: 18 months plus 3 months End Point Assessment
Early Years Educator - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)
There are no qualifications needed to undertake this apprenticeship, however, you will need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a relevant job and have access to baby room children or have arranged a baby room placement, that the assessor can observe you in.
You will need to complete a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course, valid for the duration of the qualification, including the End Point Assessment.
All applicants will be required to undertake an assessment in English and maths prior to enrolling.
Assessment is via a range of methods:
The End Point Assessment comprises of an online knowledge test and professional discussion.
You could progress to become a room leader or manage within early years and childcare settings.
You could also further your study with a Foundation Degree or Degree in early years education or primary education etc.
