Our aim is to support your study and development needs by providing a wide range of resources to help you throughout your course.

Our Learning Resource Centres have books, journals, CDs, DVDs, PCs, tablets, laptops, Surface Books, online resources and much more! All available for you to use free of charge.

There are staff on all sites to help so don’t be afraid to ask.

We have eight Learning Resource Centres and as a student, you’re welcome to use any of them, just make sure you’re wearing your ID card! 

With access to over 44,000 resources, our Learning Resource Centres are the place for all your information needs.

Each Learning Resource Centre has a range of desktop PCs, laptops, tablets and Surface Books, all equipped with the Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet for use on a drop-in basis, or our PCs are bookable up to three weeks in advance. You can even borrow items such as digital and video cameras!

Free WiFi and WiFi printing is also available throughout our libraries along with scanning facilities and colour and black and white printers and photocopiers.

There are a range of study spaces across our libraries, whether you need independent study space, a group working area or quiet/silent study options, we have something that suits your learning style.

Our qualified and experienced staff are on hand to help you with your day-to-day studies, including help with finding information, researching a topic, using the PCs, creating documents and presentations, compiling bibliographies and reference lists. We also demonstrate how you can use and search our range of online resources, in 1 – 1 or group sessions.
