Campus description
Our Ruddington campus has a national and even international reputation as a leading provider of automotive training and apprenticeships.
Training takes place in modern, purpose built facilities where automotive training in conjunction with motor manufacturers has been taking place for over 15 years.
We work with some of the world’s leading car brands to deliver specialist automotive training to apprentices as well as established and experienced mechanics, technicians and manufacturers working in the industry.
The focus here is on raising standards, competence and professional recognition of individuals engaged in the global automotive industry.
We’ve got workshop spaces dedicated to Hyundai, Aston Martin, TESLA, Ferrari, Ssang Yong and Genesis. We also have a body and paint workshop with all the latest repair and spray technology.
With all of these facilities, it is no surprise that the World Skills competition is regularly hosted on site!
Situated south of Nottingham, it is the centre to a vast range of training covering 100 years of automotive technology from the restoration of war vehicles through to modern hybrids and electric cars. In addition, Emtec also has a large footprint in vehicle accident repair.
College staff and employees of the top manufacturers work hand in hand to produce training of the highest calibre in real life scenarios. Presently, there are over 600 apprenticeship programmes facilitated through the campus.
