Bus

Nottingham benefits from two main bus services; Nottingham City Transport which covers the whole of the city centre and suburbs and Trent Barton which covers the city centre and the wider Nottinghamshire area with some lines extending as far as Derby, Leicester and Chesterfield.

Get connected
Both Nottingham City Transport (NCT) and Trent Barton have loads of bus routes heading in and out of the City Centre, giving easy access to the campuses.

What will it cost?
Students travelling on Trent Barton buses can take advantage of their Student MANGO Card. You can log in online to pre-pay your bus fare and you’ll get 35% off standard fares. Fares vary depending on your route.

Car

Please note: we are unable to provide student car parking at the City Hub, Highfields, Adams Building, High Pavement and Wheeler Gate Salon. However, there are number of car parks and on-road parking a few minutes walk from most of these campuses - most of which can be found on the Nottingham City Council Parking page - (just make sure you don’t leave your car in a restricted zone — no one likes parking fines!)

Our Basford campus has a limited number of parking spaces for students (please refer to the car park signage for the latest parking charges). Please be aware you will also need to display a valid college parking permit to park in this car park.

Train

Nottingham has great connections locally and nationwide, making train travel easier than you may think. Plus, you’ll get to take of advantage of Nottingham’s beautiful train station. View the network map here.

Get connected
Our City Hub, Adams Building, High Pavement Sixth Form Academy and Wheeler Gate campuses are less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. Whilst our Basford campus is directly accessible via bus and tram routes near the station.

What will it cost?
The cost of train travel can vary greatly depending on your journey and it’s often cheaper to buy a season pass. The East Midlands Railways website provides loads of info about ‘season ticket’ passes for train travel in and around Nottingham.
