We are pleased to announce our next series of Virtual Open Evening events will be taking place between Monday 1st February and Thursday 4th February 2021!
Due to the current restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic we are unfortunately unable to allow large groups of visitors to our various campuses at this time, so we moved our usual location led open events online!
About our Virtual Open Evening events
All our Virtual Open Evenings will feature an unique online event page for each course area you register to where you can find out more about the course area(s) you're interested in leading up to the live Q&A event, we will have content like case studies, student testimonials and virtual tours where applicable.
The live event will have a brief introduction following by a Q&A where you can ask our tutors any questions you'd like in the event and they'll do their best to answer them all! You'll be able to ask questions through the chat box function in the event. They won’t be able to hear you, you can only hear/see them as all attendees are in listen only mode.
Simply find the course area you are interested in below, which will go to the event page and then use the register now button to register your details for that event. Once registered, you're booked on! We'll keep you up to date leading up to the event. Make sure to use a valid email address so we can keep you informed.
Yes. You're welcome to register for as many events as you'd like. We have done our best to schedule all events to ensure you can watch as many as possible throughout the week. Make sure you register for each event you are interested in so you are able to access the live event.
Don't worry if you don't get a chance to watch the live event part, we will be providing recordings of all events, which you can find more information on below.
Nearer the time of the live Q&A event, you'll be provided with the link to the online event page you've registered on. This is where the Q&A live stream will be hosted, as well as other useful information and resources related to the event. You will receive several reminders leading up to the event with a link, so you won’t miss when the livestream is happening.
Yes. We will be releasing recordings of all live Q&A events that take place. As long as you've registered to the event with a valid email address, you'll be sent a notification when it is made available. We will aim to have the recording available within 24 hours of the original broadcast.
All our live Q&A events are being broadcast through Microsoft Teams. Microsoft outlines the following system requirements for devices accessing a Microsoft Teams live event on their website for attendees. For attendees the system requirements are generally quite flexible and should only require a modern web browser in most cases.
If you are joining the live event on a mobile you may want to use the Microsoft Team app for a better experience, which is available for Apple (iOS) and Android from the appropriate app stores for those devices.
Joining the live event from a desktop should simply require a modern web browser like Google Chrome.
You do not need to have an Office 365 subscription or license to access to Microsoft Teams live events from attendee perspective. Signing into a Microsoft account is also optional, but you can sign in with a Personal/School Microsoft account if you'd like.
