Site closure procedure

On very rare occasions the college is forced to implement an unplanned closure – anything from severe weather which makes travelling to and from college unsafe, to a major city-wide incident, which could pose a threat to our students.

Our college is committed to remaining open wherever possible, but some circumstances are out of our control and our priority is the safety of our students and staff.

As the weather inevitably draws in and worsens through the autumn/winter months, the college will monitor the local weekly weather forecast and we will be in close contact with our local travel companies for the latest updates.

If adverse weather forces a college closure, students/parents will be notified accordingly and as quickly as possible before the start of the college day. This will be communicated via the college website and through our social channels.

If the college is forced to close during the day, we will inform campuses and parents where necessary.
