News: 2019 Summer School

In July the College welcomed 276 Chinese undergraduate university students from China for our 2019 Summer School.

The Summer School is a bespoke 4 week programme consisting of functional and topic-based English language modules — the focus of which is to develop effective communication skills and improve fluency and pronunciation to enable students to integrate well within British society and converse both inside and outside the classroom; plus daily activities in the local area and weekend excursions to places such as London and Cambridge.

On 1 August the students met up with the Lord Mayor of Nottingham by Nottingham Castle.
