News: Animal Care students visit the RSPCA

Prior to their visit our students collected 3 bags full of dog and cat food, treats and toys for the rescue animals and were able to donate them to the centre in person and got the chance to meet animals as part of a guided tour. They also heard from one of our former Animal Care students Ellie, who is now working as an Apprentice Animal Care Assistant at the centre and other RSPCA staff who held a Q&A session, answering our students’ questions on all things animal care and careers at the RSPCA.

Our animal science courses will be a huge stepping stone to a range of employment and further study options. You will benefit from our specially designed animal science facilities, which are well-equipped for learning essential skills such as grooming, handling, and caring for small animals. 

Our lecturers share your passion for animals and have many years of experience of working with them and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get out of the classroom on visits as we have built up many partnerships over the years with charities and organisations like Stonebridge City Farm and Woodside Stables.
