News: College re-opening for face to face teaching from 7th September

Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

All of us here at Nottingham College have been busy enrolling thousands of students who are joining us or are returning to study with us for this new academic year.

If you are scheduled to enrol with us and have an appointment, we look forward to meeting you at your virtual or face to face enrolment appointment.

If you’ve yet to apply to the college but want to join us, don’t worry, there is still time. Simply apply online.

The College has been busy making arrangements for the new academic year to ensure all students and staff can be kept safe whilst on campus. Information on what to expect is being updated with new guidance all the time.

Induction

If you’ve already enrolled with us, you should have, by now, received further information about how your first couple of weeks are shaping up. All of this information is contained in your induction email, sent to your new student email address. This email address will be your student number’ followed by @student.nottinghamcollege.ac.uk (your student number is 6‑digits long and will have featured in your correspondence with the college).

In order to keep you, and everyone in college safe, we will be staggering start times and having a mix of online and face to face learning in the first few weeks, to ensure our campus buildings do not become crowded. Your induction timetable is therefore your go-to resource for information about your first day, and first couple of weeks with us. If you cannot access this email or you find that you’ve not received it, please contact us at enrolment@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk

Please note: For details of your timetable, please use your induction email information, even if you have received a timetable in another email. Timetables are subject to change as enrolment continues across the college – your induction email contains all relevant and up to date information.

Student finance and other information you need to provide

If you have enrolled with us but you are still to complete your student finance application you must do this as soon as possible via your online account with us. You can log in to your account. You can also update your personal information and upload any documents/information we may have asked for.

If you have forgotten your password or would like to request a new one, you can email us at: prospectaccount@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk.

What if I have received no information?

All enrolled students have been sent a number of confirmation emails and other information relating to their chosen course, campus or personal situation. If you have received nothing from us via email it is possible that we have incorrect contact information for you, our emails have been blocked or have found their way into your junk/spam folders, or that there has been a problem with your enrolment and it hasn’t been fully completed. We need to hear from you if you haven’t received anything from us. You’ll appreciate that our call centre is extremely busy. If you know the contact email address or phone number of your tutor, please try them first. Otherwise, please email us at enquiries@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk, call on 0115 9 100 100 or try us via our Live Chat service on this website.

Our first day of term is Monday 7th September but that doesn’t mean that all classes start on this day. In fact classes will resume over the next few weeks with a mix of induction activities, online learning and classroom based teaching taking place. Our priority is to keep you safe whilst ensuring you get the academic year off to a good start. Keep up to date with college news and information via Facebook, twitter, Instagram etc.
