News: Fix Auto launch their Future “Fixers” Apprentice Programme with EMTEC
It’s National Apprenticeship Week and we want to highlight the ways we work with businesses across the country to provide top quality automotive training for the next generation of automotive professionals, at our EMTEC automotive centre in Ruddington.
Our Employers are currently offering a range of fantastic apprenticeship opportunities where learners will complete their training with us, alongside their on the job training and we are delighted to be working with Fix Auto, who have recently launched their Future ‘Fixers’ Apprenticeship Programme.
EMTEC are the region’s most established provider of automotive training, with courses approved by the motor industry body: the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). We work with brand dealerships as well as independent garages, repair centres and automotive parts dealers.
Fix Auto, the largest network of collision repair experts, have launched their 2021 Apprenticeship Programme. Sponsored by Sherwin-Williams, who have kindly given each apprentice over £1000 worth of kit including tablets, uniform and tools! the 2‑year programme is offering 10 apprentices, who will be known as the ‘future fixers’, in-house tuition in our workshops which are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and technology
Learners will work on and obtain a level of competence in all craft aspects of vehicle accident repair, including Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET); Panel Repair & Replacement; Preparation and Paint. In addition to the in-house tuition they will complete their studies with us at our EMTEC automotive centre in Ruddington.

Our workshops are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and technology, to ensure our apprentices have the most up-to-date industry knowledge, and hands-on experience with the kit used by motor industry professionals.
