It’s Nation­al Appren­tice­ship Week and we want to high­light the ways we work with busi­ness­es across the coun­try to pro­vide top qual­i­ty auto­mo­tive train­ing for the next gen­er­a­tion of auto­mo­tive pro­fes­sion­als, at our EMTEC auto­mo­tive cen­tre in Ruddington. 

Our Employ­ers are cur­rent­ly offer­ing a range of fan­tas­tic appren­tice­ship oppor­tu­ni­ties where learn­ers will com­plete their train­ing with us, along­side their on the job train­ing and we are delight­ed to be work­ing with Fix Auto, who have recent­ly launched their Future Fix­ers’ Appren­tice­ship Programme. 

EMTEC are the region’s most estab­lished provider of auto­mo­tive train­ing, with cours­es approved by the motor indus­try body: the Insti­tute of the Motor Indus­try (IMI). We work with brand deal­er­ships as well as inde­pen­dent garages, repair cen­tres and auto­mo­tive parts dealers. 

Fix Auto, the largest net­work of col­li­sion repair experts, have launched their 2021 Appren­tice­ship Pro­gramme. Spon­sored by Sher­win-Williams, who have kind­ly giv­en each appren­tice over £1000 worth of kit includ­ing tablets, uni­form and tools! the 2‑year pro­gramme is offer­ing 10 appren­tices, who will be known as the future fix­ers’, in-house tuition in our work­shops which are ful­ly equipped with the lat­est diag­nos­tic equip­ment and technology

Learn­ers will work on and obtain a lev­el of com­pe­tence in all craft aspects of vehi­cle acci­dent repair, includ­ing Mechan­i­cal, Elec­tri­cal & Trim (MET); Pan­el Repair & Replace­ment; Prepa­ra­tion and Paint. In addi­tion to the in-house tuition they will com­plete their stud­ies with us at our EMTEC auto­mo­tive cen­tre in Ruddington.

We offer a range of appren­tice­ship train­ing pro­grammes across the Coun­try and have Nation­al auto­mo­tive organ­i­sa­tions using EMTEC as their main train­ing provider.

Our work­shops are ful­ly equipped with the lat­est diag­nos­tic equip­ment and tech­nol­o­gy, to ensure our appren­tices have the most up-to-date indus­try knowl­edge, and hands-on expe­ri­ence with the kit used by motor indus­try professionals.
