News: Fun at Freshers’ Fair
Fairground rides, sports and enrichment tasters, live music and an array of tasty treats, are just some of the great things on offer to Nottingham College students as part of our beach-themed Freshers’ Fair today (Friday 7th September), at our London Road campus in the city centre.
The event has been organised by the College’s Wellbeing team, and encourages new starters as well as our current students to come along to meet new people, speak to the services you can access at College, suggest new student societies, and get a general feel for College life.
Entertainment and activities during the day include: performances by our very own Music and Performing Arts students, fairground rides (£1 a go), Notts County penalty shoot-out, henna tattoos, face painting, tai chi, FREE hot dogs and candy floss, and Pulp Friction (the ‘make your own’ smoothie bike).
On top of all that, we have visitors from Nottingham Rugby Club, Doughnotts, NUS, British Sign Language, NHS sexual health service, Nottingham Contemporary, and Nottingham City Transport, to name just a few.
Current students (not new to the College)
You will have been given an allotted time slot, depending on which campus you’re based at. If you’re not sure when this is, please visit the Student Portal for further details.
For any more information about the event please contact the Wellbeing team at: wellbeing@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk or by following them on Twitter @NCWellbeing or Facebook @NottmcollWellbeing.
