The quality of provision at our Once Upon a Time day nurseries have once again been rated ‘good’ following a recent Ofsted inspection. Our purpose-built day nurseries based at Clarendon and The Lace Market cater for children aged eight weeks to four years.

The inspectors’ report praises the strong leadership” and qualified staff who know the children very well and skillfully extend their learning through positive interactions.” There was also reference to the innovatory ways staff work to form positive relationships with parents” and it was noted how children make consistently good progress from their starting points.”

Di Sparkes, Nottingham College Head of Early Years Services, said:

We are very pleased that our nurseries have upheld our high standards and we are thrilled to maintain our grade 2 rating. The children in our nurseries receive loving individual care by our qualified, experienced and dedicated staff, along with a wide variety of opportunities for their overall development, which I believe is reflected in our inspection result.

Ofsted is the Government body that regulates and assesses the performance of childcare and early years provision in the UK.
