Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

On 25 April our High Pavement Sixth Form Centre revealed the winners of the Head Boy and Head Girl Awards for 17/18.

Each year the awards are given to a male and female student who achieved the best A Level results in their year and also demonstrated commitment and determination through their studies.

Cosmina Stanciu was awarded Head Girl for her tenacity and sheer hard work. She achieved 3 As and a B in her A Levels and is now studying Law and French at Nottingham University. She is pictured with her mother and boyfriend who have been of huge support through her studies.

Head Boy Khaled Zoubin was a shining star and exceeded all expectations. He also achieved 3 As and a B and is studying Chemical Engineering at Manchester University. He is pictured with Alex MacDonald, Faculty Manager for A levels.

Society members: John Elliott, Colin Salsbury, Graham Whybrow, and Ken Kirk attended to present their generous prizes and certificates on behalf of the High Pavement Society.
