More than 50 A Level and GCSE students received awards for their achievements on 16 June, at a special ceremony held at our High Pavement Sixth Form.

Lecturers nominated one student, per year group, for each subject area, and each awardee received a High Pavement pin badge and certificate.

Friends, family, lecturers and College staff joined students to celebrate their achievements, ranging from: 100% attendance, progress and commitment, to exemplary skills and attitude, perseverance and outstanding achievement.

Head of High Pavement Campus, Adam Beazeley, said: We believe in the importance of recognising and rewarding our students for their hard work and success. The resilience and dedication they have shown through these challenging times has been incredible. They are all beacons within their subject area, and we are very proud of them.”

Meg Warren recently completed her final A Level exam and is hoping to progress to De Montfort University to study Media Production in September. She was nominated by her lecturer Zoe Cutter for her enthusiasm and determination in A Level Film Studies.

It feels good to be recognised, particularly in my favourite subject! The teachers at High Pavement are brilliant. They are so helpful, and they really made my time here extra special.
