Hair and Beauty students at the Morpe store

Our Level 1 hair and beauty students got hands on experience and careers advice from global make-up brand Morphe.

The learners visited the Morphe store in Victoria Centre for an in-depth careers talk and Q&A session. The group discussed interview techniques and tips for building a CV and Morphe’s store manager shared her advice on how to build a successful career in the industry with the store manager. Morphe’s make-up artists then shared their personal journeys and talked in detail about their job roles and responsibilities.

Our students had the opportunity to experience a career inspiring talk from Morphe. Learners had the opportunity to gain further insight into the beauty and make-up industry. They had the opportunity to prepare questions in advance and ask them to make-up artists and the store manager. As a result of the session, they were given lots of invaluable tips to get them ready for interviews and were able to hear first-hand from those working in the industry.

This was a fantastic opportunity that I am sure our learners will remember forever.

 — Charlene Mawer, Level 1 Course Lead & Beauty Therapy Lecturer.
