Congratulations to 15 students from across our creative courses who have been recognised at this year’s Young Creative Awards.

10 winners plus a further 5 students were Highly Commended by the judges across a range of creative categories including Design and Architecture, Photography, Graphic Design, Fashion and Textiles, Visual Arts and Film.

Kate Cooper, one of the winners in Visual Arts winner, in the 16 – 18 category, enjoys welding at home, but coming to college has allowed her to expand her knowledge, and make the most of industry standard facilities.

Kate has showcased her terrific skills in welding and created a stunning sculpture using recycled materials.

Her artwork is not only impressive, but also playful and fun, demonstrating her creativity and passion. She’s an inspiring young artist.”
